The UAB launches a series of reports on Educational Studies with the aim of improving its education quality
The UAB Vice-Rector for Training and Teaching Innovation, through the Institute for Education Studies (ICE), will write up a new series of Educational Studies Reports that will offer an in-depth analysis of the factor influencing teaching processes within the university.
The UAB calls for a minute of silence in honour of the victims of Adamuz
Following the declaration of a day of mourning by the Spanish administration after the railway accident that occurred in Adamuz, Córdoba, the UAB Governing Team calls for a minute of silence today, Tuesday 20 January at 12 noon, in front of the the University's different teaching centres and buildings.
Registration now open for the UAB Open Days 2026
The UAB campus opens its doors to prospective students; on 4 and 5 February presentations will be offered on campus, and on 6 February students will be able to attend the presentations online.
Conference on the uses and challenges of AI in the field of university teaching
On Thursday 16 October at 12 noon, the first edition of "DocèncIA: space for questions and answers" took place in the UAB Auditorium, an initiative that aims to promote debate on the uses and challenges of artificial intelligence in the field of university teaching.
University senate members elected
The university community (students, teaching and research staff, administration and services staff) elected its senate representatives through an electronic voting system. Members can view the provisional results at the elections website (in Catalan).
Course for teachers working with gypsy pupils in situations of vulnerability
On 2 October, the UAB Faculty of Arts & Humanities will host the presentation of the course Realidad Educativa en la Comunidad Gitana en Exclusión, aimed at professionals and students of education and social sciences working with gypsy pupils who are in situations of vulberability. This free and mainly online course is organised by the Romanò Institute for Social and Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the UAB, and is funded by the Spanish Ministry for Social Rights, Consumption and 2020 Agenda. The course is open to 50 people and will take place from 2 October to 19 December.
Flu vaccination campaign until 10 December
From 13 October to 10 December, the UAB Healthcare Service will be running a flu vaccination campaign for the entire university community.
On campus services available during August
The UAB campus services will offer a combination of remote and in-office attention with special opening hours during the month of August. Train and bus lines to and from campus will also function on different timetables, which can be consulted on the UAB Mobility and transport website.
