Education today is, more than ever, a necessary condition for social inclusion and sustainable development. For those committed to participating directly in the progress of education policies around the world, this master can be your launching point.

Alongside other outstanding international students, you will study at the UAB during your first semester, and at the University of Glasgow or the University of Bremen during your second semester. You will also participate in the Winter School organised by the University of Cyprus.

In this two-year programme, you will acquire professional experience thanks to a work placement period with one of our associated organisations, which include international organisations, NGOs, and research centres.

Not only is there a need for new knowledge, a new awareness is needed in the field of education and development. This master provides the base for professionals to work in this field with the technical experience necessary, as well as with the ability to be reflective and creative.

The professional opportunities available to graduates are both multiple and varied, in an ever-changing professional field with growing needs. Specifically, GLOBED graduates can work in development aid agencies as specialists in programme design, implementation, and evaluation. They can also work in international or national NGOs or apply for permanent or temporary contracts with international organisations.
