UAB students can now apply for Impuls grants

Fundació Autònoma Solidària encouraged, through the Impuls programme, creating these grants for students with a disability in situation of dependency with the final aim of guaranteeing equal conditions for accessing higher education in order to ensure their access in the labor market according to their abilities.
 
Funding Agent of this programme is the Board of Trustees, who will fund these grants with a total of 20,000 EUR, of which each student can receive a maximum of 3000 EUR. On the other hand, these resources are intended for concepts such as Personal Assistance, covering service expenses during academic period; and Mobility, covering expenses related to journeys to university in which students may encounter difficulties, because of their disability, to use public transport independently.
 
Part of the necessary documents to be eligible for receiving these grants is the following: an application standardized form, a photocopy of the official Certification of Disability issued by the competent organ based on current legislation, a photocopy of the degree of dependency resolution issued by the competent organ based on current legislation or a photocopy of the formalized academic year 2018-2019 university enrollment receipt, among other documents. 
 
Deadline for presenting documentation is 14 November at 2 p.m. Registration form can be downloaded and submitted in person on the dates set (from 9:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m Monday-Friday and 3:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m Monday-Thursday).
