The participants of the Entre Joves program express themselves through the art of collage
Last Saturday, February 12, from the volunteer and social mentoring program Entre Joves, an artistic activity was organized, by the hand of the artist Andrea Noferini.

The young participants and the volunteering group of the Entre Joves program. Some of them are already related to the framework of the social mentoring actions of the project and met to participate in an artistic activity developed by Andrea Noferini that consisted of the creation of collages.
First, they took a tour around the temporary exhibition "Co/respondències" where Noferini, author of the works, told them about the process of creating the collages and the stories behind each of them. Then it was the turn of the participants, who got the ball rolling and started to create their own collages, using magazine clippings, and painting as main materials and accompanied by music chosen by themselves. Through the collage technique, the young people were able to express themselves artistically and tell their story, which they presented to the rest once the works were finished.
The workshop concluded with a small lunch, where both young people and volunteers could continue talking and sharing visions, stories and experiences.
This is one of the different activities included within the Entre Joves program, which is based on inclusion and work with unaccompanied young people . This can be done thanks to the participation of UAB students in different volunteer actions, such as mentoring, group activities and awareness activities related to the subject.
The initiative has the support of the Department of Social Rights and is coordinated jointly with the General Direction of Care of Childhood and Teenagers (DGAIA), the General Direction of Youth (DGJ) of the Generalitat de Catalunya and social entities of the territory.
