The 1st Quick Debate Marathon arrived yesterday at the UAB with the objective to encourage the use of language in all its forms and promote debate in the university environment. The winning team was team B, formed by Andrea Mendiola, Helena Ribera, Pol Ribas and Xenia Sánchez.
Published yearly, the Times Higher Education World University Ranking classifies the top 150 universities around the world under 50 years old.
Twenty-one students from the degree in Physics and the double degree in Physics+Mathematics recently participated in the international 2015 University Physics Competition.
According to the “U-Ranking 2016 of Spanish Universities”, published by the BBVA Foundation and Ivie, the UAB ranks first in research among Spanish universities.

On Thursday 7 April two of the music groups selected for the Autònoma Actua contest, Arlet and Alisda, will offer to the public a wide range of music. Artlet’s concert will take place at 1 pm and Alisda’s at 4.30 pm, both at the UAB Theatre.
The UAB campus will host the nanoscience nanotechnology festival "10alamenos9" from 4 to 8 April with exhibits, workshops, conferences and open days.
