Forma’t al Port is spread in two courses during the two academic years of the Vocational Training studies.
 
First academic year: Forma't al Port Introduction

Students spend two days touring Port de Barcelona’s facilities including visits to a container, an intermodal freight, and a roll-on-roll-off terminals and the intermodal freight logistics platform (ZAL). During these two days students will also attend expert conferences by the different actors of Comunitat Portuaria.

Second academic year: Forma't al Port Talent
  • A four days course 100% in English. They start with a visit to the cargo port of Barcelona right before boarding a cargo ship to Italy for 24 hours.
  • It combines theoretical classes, practical visits and workshops, and a case study in teams. After the training, an interview and several behavioural and skills tests are carried out in order to obtain a professional profile report.
  • The training is offered to second-year students of Transport and Logistics and International Trade who have completed the Forma't at the Port Introduction course.
  • During the journey, students train and perform hands-on duties related to logistics and cargo transport. Upon arrival, they visit a port in Italy. The training ends with the presentation of the students' work at the Port of Barcelona.
