Master description

The curriculum of the Master’s Degree in Social and Labor Rights at UAB is structured into two semesters, with a total of 60 ECTS credits. During the first semester, students take 30 compulsory credits (OB) distributed across three key subjects: New Forms of Work Organization (10 ECTS), Dialogue and Worker Participation (10 ECTS), and Professional Management of Social Security and Pension Plans in Companies (10 ECTS).

In the second semester, students also complete 30 credits, combining compulsory and elective subjects (OP): Tools for Legal Management of Corporate Liability and Procedural Management (15 ECTS, OB), Research Methodology (9 ECTS, OP), External Internships (9 ECTS, OP), and the Master’s Thesis (6 ECTS, OB).

This structure ensures comprehensive and applied training in the field of labor law.

It is expected that most students will come from Bachelor’s Degrees in Labor Relations and Law, as well as from the Diploma in Labor Relations and the Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Sciences. For students who hold these qualifications obtained within the Spanish university system, no additional training is required. For students coming from other degrees or who have obtained their qualifications outside the Spanish university system, the possibility of taking supplementary courses is foreseen.
