Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
Official university degree issued in Spain or abroad, preferably in studies related to health sciences or sports such as Medicine, Psychology, Physical Activity or Sports Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Work, Teaching (specialising in Special Education or Physical Education) and other similar fields.
Selection criteria
Should the number of applicants be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated using a points system (maximum 10 points) according to the following criteria.
- Curriculum vitae:
- Prior work experience in the area of rehabilitation and disability. 1 point for each year of experience, up to a maximum of 5 years.
- Academic background relevant to this master's degree (attendance or participation on postgraduate courses and conferences, publications and study visits). 0.5 points for each activity of this type, up to a maximum of 10 activities. Copies of documents certifying each activity must be supplied.
- Grade point average for the bachelor's degree qualification for admission to this programme.
The scoring system allocates 60 percentage points to prior work experience in the area of rehabilitation and disabilities, 20 to an academic background of relevance to this field, and 20 to the grade point average for the applicant's degree. Applicants must also write a letter to the master's degree coordinators, recounting their experience in this area, and explaining their career goals and their expectations on completing their studies.
