The Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management offers students a learning experience closely linked to professional practice and working life, with sector-specific training and a high level of internationalisation. It provides you with:

Mobility programmes
Students can choose from different exchange programmes, a highly recommended academic experience:
- a semester or year-long stay abroad allows following the same syllabus and obtaining credits at another university
- provides an added social and cultural value.
International Double Degree with the University of Salzburg, Austria
- A joint degree in Tourism with a focus on innovation in tourism and technology
- Students will be able to enrol in the second semester of their 3rd year and the first semester of their 4th year at the FH Salzburg, located in the Tyrol, the most touristic region of Austria.

Exchanges with European universities (Erasmus+). Collaboration agreements with 35 universities in the following countries: Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Poland and Switzerland.
Erasmus Work Experience Programme: work placements lasting three to twelve months in companies and institutions of other European countries.
Exchanges with universities in Spain (SICUE): Zaragoza, Valencia, Las Palmas, Lanzarote, Oviedo, Madrid and Granada.

- These are compulsory or optional placements in accordance with the syllabus.
- The aim of these placements is to introduce students to the real work conditions in this sector in order to improve their employability.
- The placements take place at diverse companies. An agreement is signed between the company, the student and the School of Tourism and Hotel Management.
- Students follow a planned and monitored programme that involves a rotation around the different business areas of the sector, both public and private: travel agents, hotel chains, public institutions, business associations, consultancies and congress organizers, among many others.
- Students can choose to do national or international placements.
External academic placements can be curricular or extracurricular.

Hotel-School Placements
Residential placements provide students of the Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management with their first opportunity to make contact with the hotel and catering sectors.
The placements last 15 weeks: 5 in each of the 3 areas (accommodation, kitchens and restaurant), and take place in the Hotel Exe Campus, located opposite the School. More information
Coaching
Students can enrol in coaching sessions and activities which are offered by the School's counseling service aimed to guide them to deploy their potential and develop their career plan.
The job placements are managed by the UAB Foundation's own Job Bank and Placements Unit.
