From 18 to 22 April, the UAB organises a new edition of the Erasmus Staff Week, where administrative members of different European universities spend a week at the UAB.

The UAB reduces energy consumption by 17%
The UAB, which improved its position this year from 127 to 20 in the GreenMetric World University Ranking, consumes 17% less energy than five years ago, with a decrease in energy consumption of 70.3 million kWh.
The 1st Quick Debate Marathon brings gender equality to the Campus
The 1st Quick Debate Marathon arrived yesterday at the UAB with the objective to encourage the use of language in all its forms and promote debate in the university environment. The winning team was team B, formed by Andrea Mendiola, Helena Ribera, Pol Ribas and Xenia Sánchez.
THE ranking of young universities positions the UAB as 12th worldwide
Published yearly, the Times Higher Education World University Ranking classifies the top 150 universities around the world under 50 years old.
Top university in research according to U-Ranking 2016
According to the “U-Ranking 2016 of Spanish Universities”, published by the BBVA Foundation and Ivie, the UAB ranks first in research among Spanish universities.
Live music: Concert by Arlet and Alisda
On Thursday 7 April two of the music groups selected for the Autònoma Actua contest, Arlet and Alisda, will offer to the public a wide range of music. Artlet’s concert will take place at 1 pm and Alisda’s at 4.30 pm, both at the UAB Theatre.
The UAB among top 100 in twelve subjects
The UAB ranks 21 worldwide in Veterinary Medicine and is among the top 100 in eleven other subjects, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
