"Should governments have control over the media?" was the subject of the Ninth UAB Debate League. Team R, with Anna Vilà and Edward Bernal, are the winners of the debate and will represent the UAB against other universities on 24-27 April.

On 25 November, at noon, the UAB community held a minute of silence in memory of victims of gender violence. The initiative was held as part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The exhibit "Children of the War" was on display at the UAB theatre until 9 December. The exhibit focused on one of the nicest examples of solidarity between communities: the reception of refugee children during the Spanish Civil War.
