The FMUAB (Festa Major de la UAB) will once again be held on Thursday 8 November. The campus will be filled with stands, musical performances and cultural, supportive and sports activitieses. This year will be dedicated to refugees, under this year's university motto #UABrefugi: l'Autònoma acull.
From 22 to 26 October the UAB will be holding its 13th Sustainable and Safe Mobility Week with a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about sustainable means of transport.
From 5 to 14 November the UAB campus will host the 2nd edition of the UAB Games with the motto “Mens Sana in Corpore Sano”. These transverse, inclusive and solidarity games include a variety of sports and are open to all community members.

The UAB Governing Council approves the new Protocol to prevent and act against sexual and sex-based harassment, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and male chauvinist violence.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Studies will officially inaugurate the new 2018/19 academic year with an event at the conference hall on 4 October at 12:30 p.m. Economist Xavier Sala-i-Martín will give the opening lecture.
The CVC and the UAB offer 15 sessions open to citizen participation to experiment with artificial intelligence and computer vision in particular. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays, from 7 November to 26 February.
The SAF (Physical Activity Service) organises a sports sections fair for students who are interested in exercising and playing sports on campus to obtain information on all the activities available to them: competitions, teams, sections, etc. The fair will take place on Thursday 27 September at the SAF facilities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Twenty-four universities in Spain simultaneously participate in a video competition coordinated by the UAB (under the European U-Mob project) to award the creations which best represent the values of sustainable mobility at university.
