UAB Communication Unit
The Communication Unit of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has among its main functions the public diffusion of the research in all the knowledge fields of the institution, being accuracy and clarity its main goal.
The unit produces press releases for the mass media and has its own channels, like the institutional webpage, the different faculty and the School of Engineering web sites, the social media accounts and UABDIVULGA, a publication for the communication of the UAB research, open to the collaboration of all researchers.
The Communication Unit informs and advises the research staff about other ways of spreading their research. The Unit promotes the collaboration of the experts of the University in the media and helps them in that task. For this, it elaborates the UAB Expert Guide, a listing of all the researchers offering their expertise in their respective fields to appear in the media. On top of that, the Communication Unit team works alongside the rest of units of the Communication and Promotion areas in other actions of research communication such as audiovisuals and web sites.
