This Diploma is designed to provide specialized and advanced training in the regulation and management of legal issues at the local level; in this sense, it aims to deepen the knowledge of the local legal framework and analyze the specific problems that arise in the field of local entities. Especially from local councils. The programme focuses on the study of the traditional subjects of the general and special local regime (administrative procedure, contracting, equity responsibility, human resources, electoral regime, financial and tax regime, public services, contentious administrative jurisdiction, etc.), as well as other more current aspects, such as electronic administration and artificial intelligence, transparency and citizen participation, gender perspective, mediation and managerial skills. It is particularly aimed at staff at the service of local administrations, lawyers, economists and other professionals interested in the field of local law. This Diploma aims to promote the professional development of those dedicated to local management and law and promote ethical and responsible legal practices, in order to train students in matters of advice and leadership, expand the work horizon through specialization in local law and increase opportunities for professional promotion.
