Do you struggle to cope with situations arising in your practice and want to learn more in order to provide suitable care?
Do you feel you could do more for your patients but don't know how?
We will train you to accompany patient and family with compassion in the process of dying: physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
This master's degree is addressed to doctors, nurses and others wishing to give emotional-spiritual care.
In the common part, students go on a path of self-discovery, identify qualities of their own that can help them to care for their patients and acquire resources for handling difficult situations. In specialisation tracks for each profession, technical and practical content is provided. Teaching is carried out by recognised experts in their disciplines.
There are three-week placements, with professionals at the Palliative Care Unit of Hospital de Sant Pau: a reference point in this field.
This experience will change your outlook and maybe even your life itself!
