The master's degree in Animal Welfare enables the knowledge and skills required to be able to manage and advise on any aspect relating to the welfare of farm, domestic and wild animals.

The master's degree is focused on the scientific foundations of animal welfare, but it also explores ethical and legislative aspects. The programme will allow the student to be able to evaluate animal welfare, propose preventive measures and find out and resolve the major animal welfare problems of the various centers that have animals that are stabulous or free (farms, protectors, zoos, etc.).

The master's degree has a duration of 9 months and is semi-presential: from 1 October to 17 December 2021, a presence activity is carried out at the UAB, and from January to June 2022, work and activities are entirely online. Both stages are mandatory and non-exchangeable and modifiable at dates or format.
