Knowledge:
KT01- Define the concept of animal welfare, recognizing its complexity, and comparing the different proposed definitions.
KT02- Identify the main well-being assessment indicators, their strengths and limitations.
KT03- Describe the main welfare problems in farm, companion and wild animals, and the resolution strategies.
KT04- Know the different social components involved in the promotion of animal welfare (ethical, regulatory, social debate).
KT05- Describe the main welfare problems in less common species, productions or areas (fish, small ruminants, rabbits, exotic animals, etc.)

Skills:
ST01- Scientifically analyze welfare problems in various situations and different species and sectors, solving them and/or applying preventive measures.
ST02- Investigate the effects that practices with animals or contexts can have on their well-being.
ST03- Conduct conversations and other communications about animal welfare successful in both broadcasting and obtaining the desired information for various audiences.
ST04- Develop an ethical commitment in decision-making, analyzing practices related to animal welfare from an ethical perspective.

Competences:
CT01- Assess animal welfare in different contexts, species and degrees using rigorous and reliable methods already established or by creating your own.
CT02- Carry out small research projects both experimental and bibliographic, formulating hypotheses and experimental designs.
CT03- Review information and scientific bibliography on animal welfare rigorously and with a critical sense.
