18/11/2016

The series of #debatspúblicaXXI debates is open to all students and is designed to create three different platforms for debate in relation to the university model that we would like to have in the 21st century. Students and teaching and research staff will get the chance to  reflect together on three different days throughout the academic year.

The first debate will take place on 30 November from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UAB Cinema. In this session, we will be discussing degree structure: a measure commonly known as “3+2”.

A series of orientation sessions on the subject have been organized by the central administration and executive offices, so that students will have access to as much information as possible before the first debate on 30 November. Students can also find more information on this subject, as well as a report by the university executive, in this blog. Registrations for the first debate are already open.

The other two debates in the series will revolve around students’ rights and duties, and student involvement. The dates for the second and third debates are 22 February and 26 April. You are encouraged to participate in these sessions. because the voices of the learners themselves are an important part of considerations of the kind of public university we would like to have in the 21st century.
