University Master's Degree in Management, Organization and Business Economics

Embark on a transformative academic journey with our Master of Science Program in Management, Organization, and Business Economics (MMOBE). This highly international research-intensive program, spanning 60 ECTS, provides advanced training in business research, emphasizing management, business economics and advanced research methods.

Designed for a one-year duration, the program demands full-time dedication. The MMOBE program holds an "Excellent Accreditation" by AQU (Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency), endorsed by EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education), ensuring compliance with European Higher Education Standards. The MMOBE is also officially recognized by the Spanish Government through the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA).

The curriculum builds upon economic approaches to studying organizations, with a significant focus on business economics, statistics, and quantitative research methods. Academic excellence is the main feature of the MMOBE program along with diversity. In the academic year 2023-24, the twenty-four students participating in the program represent eighteen different nationalities. Collaboration and respect for beliefs, religious, moral, or cultural principles and gender differences are the governing principles of the MMOBE program.

Jointly organized by three esteemed Spanish university departments, teaching sessions are held at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (October to April) and Universidad Pública de Navarra (April to May). Master theses defenses culminate at the University of the Balearic Islands in early September. Upon completion, participants receive an official Master diploma, acknowledging their engagement with all three universities. High-achieving individuals may seize the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. degree in management, organization, and business economics at one of the three universities. Career options

The main objective of the MMOBE is to train professionals in the study of organizations, on a conceptual and quantitative basis. The capabilities acquired will enable students to enroll in a Ph D. Programme in the fields of business organization, strategy and economics as well as to undertake analysis and implement actions for different types of organization: companies, government institutions and international bodies.
