Content Official Master's Degree in Teaching in Secondary Schools, Vocational Training and Language Centres (Specialisation in Mathematics)
Master description
The master's degree comprises a single academic year of 60 credits, distributed in six modules that coincide overall with those stipulated in the Ministry Order that governs the degree (ECI/3858/2007, of 27 December). This teaching programme is structured in line with the subjects and teaching contexts of compulsory and upper secondary education. Teaching is on-site, except the module of Educational Psychology Training, which can be taken on-site or online.
The master's degree has a single specialisation: Mathematics
Except for the Master's dissertation, which is six-monthly, all modules are year-long so as to allow an interconnection between the different academic modules and the Practicum module by alternating between class attendance periods at the university and teaching practice periods spent in a secondary school.
