- To point out the main contemporary challenges of territorial planning.
- Interpret the cartographic expression of territorial information.
- To relate the different strategies of analysis and synthesis regarding the territorial, urban and local implications of the new forms of sustainable mobility.
- Generate urban planning and territorial management projects using the appropriate figures and methodologies at different territorial scales.
- Distinguish environmental problems by applying knowledge of environmental and ecological economics.
- Determine the spatial and territorial projections of social and economic imbalances in the processes of territorial planning and urban planning.

- Demonstrate the capacity to develop innovative public policies in territorial and urban dynamics, city management and metropolitan spaces.

- Use quantitative methodologies for territorial and urban analysis and diagnosis.
- Carry out planning projects based on the principles of ecological, social, and economic sustainability from the gender perspective.
- To elaborate propositional conclusions for territorial and urban management in territorial planning projects.
- Use qualitative methodologies in the observation of public space.
- Communicate and disseminate territorial information in a clear and synthetic way at different scales, using the appropriate language and tools.

- Integrate relevant information related to the gender perspective into studies and works, evaluating and analysing its impact within territorial planning.
