Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

The multidisciplinary nature of this Master's degree is in keeping with the different academic profiles of the students. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree can apply for the master’s degree course. The Master’s degree Admission Committee (CAM) will evaluate all applications to ensure that successful applicants have a sufficient capacity to join the course.  

 

Foreign students whose mother tongue is not Spanish must demonstrate their knowledge of Spanish. This can be done with the DELE or SIELE certificates (minimum level C1). It is also necessary to accredit a minimum level of CEFR English B2.1. If applications exceed available places, allocation will be made according to the following priority criteria established by the CAM. 

  1. Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology.
  2. Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Philologies/Humanities and equivalent qualifications (*)
  3. Engineering and Science (*).

(*) In accordance with the criteria of the CAM, these students, , may be required to take bridging courses.

Selection criteria

The academic record counts for 50%, taking into account the average grade, the year of completion of studies and the competences or skills acquired in the degree or attained in the degree of origin. 

1. Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology.   30 points
2. Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Philologies/Humanities and equivalent qualifications(*).   20 points
3. Engineering and Science (*).   10 points

 

(*) In accordance with the criteria of the CAM, these students, , may be required to take bridging courses.

The language level counts for 25%, and the score will depend on the level achieved and accredited by the CEFR.

1. English B2.2 o C1      10 points
2. Other EU languages (French, etc.)                       B2.1 3 points

Accredited work experience (15%) will be evaluated according to years of experience in marketing-related areas. 

Less than 2 years    5 points
More than 2 years                    10 points

Accredited bridging courses in the area of marketing (undergraduate or postgraduate) represents 10% of the score (maximum 10 points).

The CAM may require interviews to evaluate the applicant's eligibility.

Complementary training

If deemed necessary, applicants must take bridging courses of up to 6 credits: Statistics II (code 102385) for Group 2 degrees and Marketing Management (code 104678) for Group 3 degrees.
