Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
Graduates preferably in: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences.
Graduates in Biology, Genetics, Veterinary Medicine and Industrial Engineering, as well as graduates of studies not explicitly included in this list but who accredit a profile such as the one that qualifies them to study the master's degree.
Have a knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan at level C1 and a knowledge of English at level B2.
Selection criteria
If the number of registered places exceeds the places offered, these are awarded according to the following criteria:
- Graded academic record: up to 4 points.
- Affinity of the studies with areas of biotechnology: up to 3 points.
- Previous professional and research experience related to the content of the Master's degree: up to 2 points.
- Reference letters: up to 1 point.
Complementary training
Students from the degrees in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences do not need to take bridging courses.
Students of Biology, Genetics and Veterinary Medicine who want to take the Industrial itinerary must take the following bridging courses:
