The ideal student profile for the Degree in History is a person with a clear interest in history as a science, an interest that can be diachronic (in all periods of history or a specific one) or thematic, i.e. in one facet, either social, political, economic or cultural, over the course of history. Also, both historical analysis and methodological reflection about History require people with a critical and analytical capacity, and with an inclination for observation and reflection. A certain amount of intellectual curiosity is highly important. Finally, good written and spoken communication will also be evaluated throughout the learning process as it will be after when exercising a professional career.
