A total of 64.3% of the university community uses public transport to reach the UAB, the highest figure in almost the past 20 years (in 2001 it was 52.6%), according to the Mobility Habits Survey. The number of people travelling to and from the UAB in private vehicles has gradually decreased: from 43.4% in 2001 to 29% this year.

A conference on animal protection will be offered on Wednesday 15 January at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as part of the "Campus activities" series, an initiatve aiming to foster student participation in a diversity of activities by stopping all academic activities once a month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
As is customary during the winter break, some UAB Bellaterra campus services will have special opening hours and most will close from 23 December 2019 to 6 January 2020.
