The new Orió Study Room Open to FUAB Students

The new Orió Study Room is now open to students of the Escola FUAB Formació and the Centre de Formació Professional Fundació UAB. Access to the facility requires an accreditation card confirming enrolment in one of the academic programmes. The access card may be collected from the Academic Management Reception Desk starting January, 20th.

School Faculty, Speakers at the 18th Edition of the Image and Research Conference in Girona

This November, from the 20th to the 23rd, the 18th edition of the Image and Research Conference (Antoni Varés Conference) will take place, aiming to reflect on and share knowledge and experiences related to various aspects of photographic and audiovisual heritage management. These conferences have been organized by the Centre for Image Research and Diffusion (CRDI) of the Girona City Council since 1990, every two years.

Upcoming Online Information Sessions on Specializations in Archival and Records Management

The School is organizing several online information sessions to introduce the University Master's Degree in Archival Studies and Information Governance and the Specialisation in Management of Electronics Records, along with their related courses, to individuals interested in pursuing these studies who have not yet started the pre-enrollment process. The sessions are scheduled for July 17 and 18, and September 5. Check the timings.

 

Minut de silenci per la pau

The UAB inaugurates a peace series with university members from Eastern Europe

On 6 April, the UAB will be holding an institutional event entitled "Vent de l'est: guerra i pau als confins d'Europa" [Wind From the East: war and peace on the edges of Europe], in which members of the university community from Serbia, Rumania, Russia and Ukraine will share their impressions on the conflict currently taking place in Ukraine. The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the Journals Hall of the Humanities Library, at the Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
