About the collection

The collections related to Geography that are available in the UAB are mostly in the Humanities Library, housed in two buildings:

Periodical publications are found in the Journals Room, Building B (in front of the Auditorium).

On the first floor of the Library (Building L) we find the monographs corresponding to the subjects of Geography (human geography, physical, political, economic, regional, etc.), which, following the classification used, occupy the subdivisions of number 9. You can also find subjects related to other numbers in the classification: under 3: demography (312), emigration (325) or tourism (380.81) and under 5: environment (504), geodesy and topography (528), geology (55) or climatology (551.58).

On the third floor of the Library you will find the Map Library, where you have the cartography collection (atlases, maps and aerial photography) of the university.

You can access the online digital collections through the search engine, either electronic books, electronic journals, databases ...
