Specific skills

- K01: To identify the basic, theoretical and clinical characteristics of swallowing and dysphagia throughout the lifespan.
- K02: To identify bibliographic and documentary resources focused on the pathology of oropharyngeal dysphagia and its associated complications.
- K03: To indicate the standardized screening and assessment measures and the treatment parameters and methodologies used in the field of dysphagia.
- S01: To demonstrate the ability to evaluate research literature on dysphagia.
- S02: To demonstrate the expertise of healthcare professionals in the area of swallowing.
- S03: To use skills to recognize swallowing disorders in order to make reasoned decisions for their treatment.
- S04: To develop skills in the critical analysis of studies on diagnostic accuracy, intervention studies and systematic reviews in dysphagia.
- S05: To apply basic clinical skills in the screening and evaluation of oropharyngeal dysphagia according to the professional profile of each student.
- C01: To integrate the multidisciplinary aspect of the clinical treatment of dysphagia in healthcare practice.
- C02: To evaluate the indication for treatment in dysphagia and evaluate the results during the procedure and also at the end of it.
- C03: To formulate study protocols for patients with dysphagia.
- C04: To interpret the results of dysphagia assessment and treatment tests.
- C05: To plan a diagnostic system, to identify the possible complications of dysphagia and write the corresponding report.
