The online postgraduate course in Healthy Life Style is aimed at health and sports professionals who want to master techniques for achieving healthy habits to be able to recommend them as part of their daily work.
The objective is to train professionals in the promotion and introduction of healthy life styles among the general population in programmes based on a combination of physical activity/sport, eating behaviour, sleeping habits and stress management.
Guided by professional specialists, you will work on theoretical and practical content in 5 modules: physical activity, diet, relaxation, sleep and sport. You will later apply your knowledge in a Final Postgraduate Project. The course benefits from the know-how of the Sport Psychology laboratory, linked to the consolidated Life Style, Sport and Health research group.
Set your own pace during the academic year. The modules can be taken simultaneously or consecutively. Each module can be taken on line in 2-3 months, depending on whether you are taking the course full- or part-time.
There is also the possibility of taking each module independently, without enrolling for the complete postgraduate course. If you decide to do this you will be able to enrol at any time during the year (except for the Final Postgraduate Project). Afterwards, you can get the modules recognised as independent courses and complete the postgraduate degree by taking the remaining modules.
