Created in 1988, this programme has always emphasised the importance of human and social behaviour as a fundamental factor for dealing with environmental questions in both natural and urban situations and in public management and private companies.
Environmental questions cannot be seen outside the integrated management of its ecological, physical, technical and social sides. Therefore, without forgetting the technical aspects, what most characterises the programme is the human, social and organisational aspect associated with the problems of the environment and sustainable development.
This programme is interdisciplinary in terms of content, teaching and students, and was conceived and designed bearing in mind the contributions and the definition of needs by professionals who have taken part in it at different times over the last two decades.
It covers the presentation, theoretical reflection, presentation and analysis of case studies (experiences, real problems, visits, etc.) with their aim of integrating these contents in different areas of professional application, as well as offering methodological resources for research, action and/or management.
