The complexity of VAT in international trade requires rigorous training, which the UAB, together with the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, can offer not only with the necessary academic perspective but also with a practical and distinctly business-oriented approach. This program provides specialized training in the handling of VAT in international operations, both intra-community and extra-community. Jointly designed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, it addresses key aspects such as the rules for determining the place of taxation, special regimes, and the export and import of goods and services, in response to a real need within the business sector.
This microcredential is designed to provide basic training in the field of indirect taxation of extra-community transactions, so it is advisable to have knowledge of VAT mechanics and be familiar with its application. Its goal is to learn how VAT management works in international transactions and to understand the strict formal requirements of the tax's mechanics. The course includes case studies and practical projects, delivered by subject-matter experts, allowing participants to acquire up-to-date and flexible training. The format is designed to be compatible with work or family responsibilities. Classes are held once a week in the afternoon, in person.

- Technician in accounting or international administration departments or organizations supporting internationalization
