The Lifelong Learning Master's in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology has been designed by a unique consortium of universities, regulatory agencies, and pharmaceutical companies. The program has been structured into flexible modules to facilitate access and academic progression for individuals with limited time availability, such as healthcare professionals.

All courses are delivered online and in English, allowing students to access learning materials and activities anytime and from anywhere.

The Lifelong Learning Master's in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology offers a Master's degree jointly awarded by Eu2P academic partners and recognized by all Eu2P industrial and regulatory partners.

Career opportunities

Regulatory Agencies and Other Institutions
The existence of national pharmacovigilance programs, aimed at investigating and early detection of serious adverse effects in populations exposed to new medicines, requires trained and up-to-date specialists. These programs (regional in Spain and in countries such as France or the United Kingdom) need professionals with expertise in this field.

Pharmaceutical Industry
Each pharmaceutical company is legally required to have a pharmacovigilance department, staffed with at least one specialist who acts as a liaison with the national pharmacovigilance system or the corresponding supranational authority. These departments must periodically produce safety reports on all products marketed by the company.

Public and Private Healthcare Systems
Due to its relevance and the personal and social consequences of drug toxicity, hospital and primary care physicians and pharmacists may be interested in specializing in these disciplines. Moreover, such expertise may be required in cases involving legal implications of medical acts or when there is a need to communicate the risks associated with the use of a medicine to large populations through conventional media channels.
