1. Nursing Care for the Newborn: This subject introduces the basic concepts and fundamental theories related to nursing care for newborns. Special emphasis is placed on understanding initial physiological, nutritional, and developmental processes, as well as planning and managing specific nursing interventions for this stage of life.
2. Nursing Care for the Child: A subject focused on nursing care for children from the first months of life to early adolescence. Students will learn about physical and psychological development, the most common pediatric illnesses, and strategies for safe and effective care for this age group.
3. Nursing Care for the Adolescent: This subject addresses the particularities of nursing care during adolescence. Special emphasis is placed on the physical, emotional, and social changes experienced by adolescents, as well as nursing intervention techniques to meet the specific needs of this life stage.
4. Practicum in Pediatric Settings: Practical placement in clinical environments specialized in pediatrics, where students can apply the theoretical knowledge acquired. Under the supervision of healthcare professionals, students will participate in direct patient care, developing advanced clinical skills and gaining experience in managing complex cases.
5. Master's Final Project: Development of an original research project under the supervision of an academic tutor. This project allows students to demonstrate their ability to integrate and apply the knowledge acquired throughout the master’s program, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice in the pediatric field.
