The programme extends over two academic years, and deals with theoretical and practical topics in neuropsychological care for patients in out-patient clinics and admission wards.
It offers training for healthcare professionals interested in clinical neuropsychology, both exploration and diagnosis and cognitive rehabilitation for secondary disorders from brain injuries.
It consists of 90 mandatory ECTS credits (40 for theory, 40 for practice, 10 for the master's dissertation), taught over 6 modules. The theory component is taught at the Faculty of Medicine-UAB (HSCSP) and the practical component at the Neurology Service of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (HSCSP), Barcelona and also at the Neurology Service of the Hospital Institut Universitari Dexeus, Barcelona, and other collaborating centres.
