The course presents the key elements for conducting and writing a systematic review. Systematic reviews are a type of review article that critically collect and analyze multiple research works, usually published in scientific journals, using well-defined methods for identifying and selecting works and one or more clearly defined research questions.
The course constantly references both the Cochrane manual, which has been the organization that has most promoted this methodology since the 1980s, and the PRISMA guide, which has systematized the contents that a systematic review article should have.
