International students take on real challenges at the UAB
A group of 33 students from different European universities belonging to the ECIU University will meet at the UAB from 4 to 8 November to work on solutions for real-life challenges.
In this mobility experience, which will take place from 4 to 8 November on the UAB campus, the students will be working on specific challenges. In the first challenge, entitled Tackling the Housing Crisis: Strategies for Lowering Rent in urban communities, the 18 students participating will propose measures to the Terrassa City Council to solve a real problem: high rental prices. The students will propose solutions to guarantee access to housing and stability for residents. In another challenge, 15 students will work on Climate change and migratory movements, with the aim of identifying up to what extent the effects of climate change are causing new migratory processes at international levels.
The mobility week at the UAB will combine group work sessions with more ludic activities so that students can experience the campus first-hand.
