After months of working online, the students are now meeting in person at the UAB from 1 to 5 July to get a first-hand look at the activities taking place on campus. A welcoming session for the international students took place on 1 July, in a joint meeting for students enrolled in the challenge and the micro-module. Throughout the week, they will combine group work sessions with visits to campus facilities, such as the Open Labs and the Physical Activity Service. On Friday 5 July students will present their proposals for a solution.

The goal of the TechFit Challenge: Empowering Healthy and Sporty lifestyles through Technology challenge is to become aware of health and sports habits that could be adopted by members of the  university community and design and develop a technological solution. Since May, students have been working together online and this week they are in the final stage of the challenge, discovering university life at the UAB campus and the SAF sports facilities with the aim of proposing solutions. In this mobility experience, there are 3 UAB students and 24 international students.

Students of the Fortress Europe: human rights violations against migrants and refugees at Europe's borders micro-module have also been able to visit the campus during this week and discover the economic and geopolitical interests existing in border regions, as well as the European policies and collective resistance movements against the violations of human rights of migrants and refugees. 8 UAB students and 19 international students are participating.
