The UAB welcomes administration staff from European universities
20/04/2018
From 23 to 27 April, the UAB organises a new edition of the Erasmus Staff Week, where administrative members from different European universities spend a week at the UAB. The group will be welcomed on 23 April by Màrius Martínez, Vice Rector for International Relations at the UAB.
Throughout the week, 16 professionals from universities in 14 countries, mostly from Europe, will become familiar with the UAB campus and some of the most important aspects of its organisation and services. In addition, they will learn about UAB procedures when aiding students and administrative and services staff participating in the Erasmus+ programme. Participants will be able to give presentations on their home universities and the work they do in order to exchange experiences and new ideas in the management of international student and staff exchanges.
The UAB organises these activities since 2008. This year, the UAB will wellcome members of universities from Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italia, Republic of Macedonia, Portugal, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and United Kingdom.
The Erasmus programme includes training stays for university staff from other universities in Europe. The objective of the programme is for European universities to exchange experiences and open up common collaboration spaces within the European Higher Education Area and facilitate staff from different countries to share organisation methods, experiences and practices in other institutions with the aim of improving work structures and methods.
