A delegation from the Chinese University of Jinan visits the UAB
During the visit, the team from the University of Jinan has been able to know the technology and knowledge transfer model of the UAB Research Park and visit different research centers at the UAB campus.

The UAB Vice-rector for International Relations, Màrius Martínez, and the managing director of the UAB Research Park, Carlos Valero, have received in the Eureka building the Chinese team formed by members from different departments of the university. Martínez welcomed the delegation and made a presentation about the UAB. For his part, Valero has presented the operating model of the UAB Research Park and the commitment to collaborative research.
Later, the Jinan University team has divided into three groups and have visited different faculties and research centers to learn about the capabilities of the UAB in the areas of Medicine, Food Technologies and Food Security and Asian Studies and Translation.
The visit is part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two universities at the end of last year, with the aim of promoting the academic, scientific and professional relations between the two universities and developing teaching and research activities of common interest to both institutions.
