Machine translation, as well as the introduction of GenAI tools like ChatGPT, has changed the way we translate and has clearly impacted the workflows of translation professionals. There are many activities involved in the translation process-such as how we manage terminology, verify translations, etc.-that can benefit from the use of new technological advances. Through an active and accessible methodology, participants will learn to critically and effectively integrate translation support tools, such as machine translation and artificial intelligence, into their workflows. Furthermore, the course offers a practical and up-to-date overview of how these tools are transforming the profession and enables their application to real-world cases. All of this takes place in an environment that encourages both participant autonomy and reflection on the challenges that digitalisation poses to the sector.
