It can be taken through the following options:

- Enroll in the specialization diploma in Quality and Safety Management and Methodology in the Health Field, and once completed, enroll in the rest of the master's subjects.

Specific skills

KT01: Define the fundamental concepts of healthcare quality, its dimensions, and the improvement cycle. KT02: Explain the foundations of change for improvement and the role of change agents in quality improvement. KT03: Describe the magnitude of the patient safety problem, its causes, impact, frequency, and prevention capacity. KT04: Relate healthcare quality, patient safety, and problem analysis strategies (FMEA, RCA). KT05: Describe the importance of efficiency as a dimension of quality and the provision of value-based health services. KT06: Define Person-Centered Care (PCC) and the concept of empowerment and its implications in practice. KT07: Define the objectives and methodology of process management in an organization, understanding its applicability in the context of continuous quality improvement. KT08: Define safety problems in the different phases of patient evaluation and in different areas of care.
ST01: Develop the quality improvement methodology based on the evaluation and improvement cycle. ST02: Analyze the skills necessary for the development of quality improvement. ST03: Analyze the results of epidemiological studies on clinical safety, applying methodological concepts to evaluate the nature and frequency of adverse events in healthcare settings. ST04: Apply risk analysis methodologies and reporting systems for patient safety. ST05: Develop scientific literature research and other methods to implement evidence-based guidelines and protocols to improve healthcare quality. ST06: Apply tools to measure patient satisfaction, design questionnaires, and evaluate results. ST07: Analyze different healthcare accreditation and certification systems, applying criteria in real contexts. ST08: Apply error communication to patients and their environment, ensuring transparency and emotional support.
CT01: Plan the implementation of quality improvement cycle tools. CT02: Integrate the patient into clinical management, promoting their empowerment and active participation and evaluating their experience. CT03: Evaluate the main safety problems related to diagnostic errors, medication, and their preventive strategies.
