Is an institutional programme that lets graduates maintain their ties with the university and with each other, and also build up new professional and personal relationships.
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has exchange agreements with universities all over the world and offers a wide range of courses for exchange students. To study at the UAB as an exchange student, your university needs to have a bilateral agreement with the UAB and the student must be selected by the home institution.
Students whose universities of origin do not have an agreement with the UAB have the option of attending the UAB through the Study Abroad programme.
NOMINATIONS:
Partner universities must send their nominations before the following nomination deadlines:
1st of May: for starting in September (Fall semester or Full academic year)
1st of November: for starting in February (Spring semester)
Erasmus Programme: (European Union universities): Erasmus@uab.cat
UAB Programme (universities outside the European Union): uab.exchange.programme@uab.cat
This list must contain the following information:
• Name of the sending institution
• Student’s full name
• Student’s e-mail address
• Field of studies (if possible, please indicate the Erasmus area code specified in our bilateral agreement)
• Period of stay (1st term, 2nd term, full academic year)
Please note that any application form sent without prior communication of the student’s home university will not be considered.
APPLICATION PERIODS:
Students selected at their home universities for an academic exchange stay at UAB must fill in an online Application Form at the site http://sia.uab.cat.
This Application Form will be available during the following periods:
For students choosing to come in the first term or for one academic year: from March 1st to May 15th
For students choosing to come in the second term: from October 1st to November 15th
The students accepted will receive via e-mail an admission letter and a document with useful information for their future stay at UAB. Once obtained the acceptance confirmation, they must send the Learning Agreement to intercanvis.dret@uab.cat

In addition to the fields of associations, politics, culture, sports and the academic-professional area that student societies offer, there are also institutional channels through which students can participate in the governance and management of university.
The Cinema of the UAB has a regular programming of films, documentaries, TV productions, series, thematic seminars and other activities related to the audiovisual industry.
At the Theatre of the UAB you can find a varied programming of dance, theatre and music of own production and professional shows, as well as academic activities or institutional acts.
The UAB has spaces for training and regular artistic creation in which you have teh opportunity to start or continue with your training in an artistic discipline: dance, theatre, choir, orchestra and chamber choir.
