Learn Catalan by speaking with artificial intelligence: Conversation Guide with ChatGPT for Language Reception is a resource from the language services of the UB, UAB, UPC, UPF, UdL, UdG, URV and UVic-UCC.
The guide is a resource for learning Catalan through the use of artificial intelligence. The goal of this initiative is to provide international students with a simple, self-guided and effective method for learning to speak Catalan with the assistance of ChatGPT.
The guide, published in Catalan, Spanish and English, contains advice for Catalan language learners to make the most of their conversation practice with ChatGPT: technical and linguistic recommendations, advice for writing prompts for dialogue, plus guidance for providing context and for the generation of activities and responses. It also includes examples of real interactions between ChatGPT and Catalan language learners.
