The Research Master's in International Studies is a two-year programme that admits students bienially. Admissions for the 2024-2026 academic year are now open. It is an interdisciplinary 120-ECTS credit programme that combines the study of complex problems in international politics and related areas, with a strong focus on research methods in Social Sciences. This two-year Master’s programme intends to prepare policy analysts and researchers in different areas of international studies, providing them with advanced methods training and research skills that would enable them to develop or consolidate their professional and academic careers. This Master’s offers excellent preparation to successfully pursue a PhD programme in International Relations, Development studies, Public Policy or Political Science.
IBEI’s masters’ degrees are officially accredited in Spain and adapted to the European Higher Education Area. This degree is offered jointly with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University.
