Admission Official Master's Degree in Digital Humanities and Heritage
Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
Work in the digital humanities and heritage today is characterised by its transdisciplinary nature. Professionals from all sorts of backgrounds (humanities, social sciences, engineering) work together on wide-ranging cultural projects. This Master’s degree has therefore been designed to offer solutions to the needs of a wide range of students with very different previous training. We believe that we need to open the doors to this course to students from different branches of knowledge and different specific training needs, but who coincide on a common theme: the use of technology for information contained in cultural data.Within this broad access graduates or equivalent in the following fields are encouraged to apply:
1. Humanities, History, Archaeology, Philosophy, Arts, Philology. These students will be required to take bridging courses.
2. Social sciences or equivalent studies, or Experimental science, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent. These students will be required to take bridging courses.
All students must be able to accredit office computer skills at user level.
Selection criteria
If the number of applicants is greater than the number of places, allocation of places will made according to preference. The selection committee will consider applications places according to the following three criteria:1. Academic transcript (up to 70 %). In accordance with the specific admission requirements the weighting for the different subjects is as follows:

2. Professional experience in cultural impact projects (20 %)
3. Participation in additional academic activities related to the area of humanities (seminars, conferences, research projects, publications and papers in academic forums) (up to 10 %). All participation or publications must be justified by a copy of the attendance or publication certificate. Each participation or publication will be awarded 2.5 % up to a maximum of 10 %.
