Training Programme - Academic Year 2026-2027
Since 2017, ICTA-UAB has organized short training courses and workshops for researchers, with support from the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence programme.
Our selection of courses and workshops follows the European Commission’s Principles for Innovative Doctoral Training guidelines. Training covers a broad range of areas, from interpersonal and transferrable skills and emerging research methodologies, to open research practices. Courses are designed for researchers at all career stages, from R1 to R4, and some also include training for technical and administrative staff in areas such as ethics of care and gender equity.
This approach reflects the European Commission’s emphasis on broad, transferable training that prepares researchers to work across disciplines and contribute to innovative, responsible research. By combining methodological, transferrable and transversal skills, our training supports researchers in developing the competences needed for today’s evolving research environment.
These activities are complementary to courses organized by the UAB Doctoral School for PhD students and to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), accessible with UAB credentials.
