Women's Day Conference: Insights from Research

In addition to the memory of the event, this conference seeks to raise awareness of the contributions of current research and encourage research on gender. Talking about gender and its inequalities is a recurrent aspect, but its relationship with research sometimes goes unnoticed. Research is one of the signs of identity of the University, it provides the necessary data to know where we are, and it is a reflection and critical attitude about daily reality. It is, undoubtedly, revealing what is often not evident. Within this framework, the proposed activity has a double orientation, on the one hand, to share and discuss the knowledge of the invited researchers as speakers. And, on the other hand, it aims to motivate the research on gender carried out by the students through the explanation, in first person, of their doctoral, end-of-degree and master's degree works of our Faculty.
