Next Tuesday, December 20th, from 10h to 13.15h, the Training for the Prevention of Gender Violence will take place at the University. It is the second edition of the course in an online format and organized as Tailor-Made Training with the UAB Training Unit.

On March 16, the dean of the UAB issued a resolution, which was approved by the Board of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology on May 4, where it established that the training is specifically aimed at teachers. It is also open to PAS and PDI of the entire UAB.

The contents of the course are based on international scientific evidence and experiences of prevention and action in situations of sexual harassment inside and outside our classrooms. In addition, it is organized in 3 round tables of approximately one hour, and speakers from different fields will provide key information for the construction of safe and supportive environments for victims of FBV in the academic field.

To register, it is necessary to fill in the form, by December 14th, for attendance control. Once the training is finished, a certificate of participation will be issued so that it can be considered as a teaching merit of the teaching staff.
