The Information Point & Logistical Support Service of The Faculty of Education has its office on the ground floor of two of our buildings: G5 & G6.

Opening hours:
September - June: Weekdays 8am-9pm
During Easter and Christmas holidays the service is closed

July: Weekdays 8am-8pm
August: First and second week: 8am-2pm
The service is closed on the second & third weeks in August.

Locker Services
Students can use the lockers during the day, from 8am to 8pm. They are located on the ground floor of building G% and on the first floor of building G6.

This service is responsible for the Faculty's financial administration, including those concerning departments, teaching units and research centres. It also administers the finances of the Faculty Students’ Union and payments linked to the development of cultural activities.

Quality Management supports the Dean’s office Team in all matters related to teaching quality:

• Periodic review of the manual and processes which are part of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Faculty of Education.
• Development review of the implementation of the Faculty's official qualifications: degree monitoring process.
• Incorporation of improvements detected in the monitoring of official qualifications: degree modification process.
• Preliminary assessment of the necessary conditions for the establishment of new official qualifications: verification process.
• Periodic review of the Institutional Accreditation and IQAS Certification of the Faculty of Education by external evaluators (AQU Catalunya).

Distributed IT Service for Educational Sciences and Translation and Interpreting (SID)

The Distributed IT Service (SID) is a service aimed at students, teaching staff, and Technical, Management, and Administrative and Support Staff (PTGAS), within the territorial scope that includes the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Humanities Library, Architecture and Logistics Directorate, Research Module A, and Building B13.

Within the scope of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the main objective of the SID is to provide the necessary technical support for IT and multimedia resources, as well as to oversee the management and maintenance of the technological infrastructure.

Computer Labs

The Faculty of Education Sciences has 3 computer labs intended for teaching and course practical work, equipped with a total of 88 computers. These labs are supervised by the SID (Distributed IT Service), which is responsible for their management and the maintenance of their technological infrastructure.

Description of the labs:

• Computer lab 2: 29 computers

• Computer lab 3: 30 computers

• Computer lab 4: 29 computers

All classrooms are equipped with a projector and a sound system.

• July: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 7:30 pm

• August: Closed

 

The Multimedia Resource Services offers support to lecturers, researchers, research groups and research centres.
