Oriol Guerrero receives the Academic Excellence Award at the ADSI 2025 gala
The Association of Comprehensive Security Managers (ADSI) distinguished Oriol Guerrero, alumni of the UAB's Prevention and Comprehensive Security, with the Academic Excellence Award during this institution's 2025 gala, a recognition that highlights his educational trajectory and his commitment to rigorous and ethical security.

UAB Prevention and Comprehensive Security graduate Oriol Guerrero was awarded the Academic Excellence Award during the ADSI 2025 Awards Gala, held at the Gran Meliá Torre Melina in Barcelona, a few days ago. The recognition, granted by the Association of Comprehensive Security Managers (ADSI), highlighted his academic background and his commitment to rigorous and ethical professional security.
Guerrero, who is now Security and Mobility Supervisor of the Barcelona Fair, expressed his gratitude to the jury, to EPSI and to all the people who have accompanied him in the training process. “Well-done security is almost invisible, but it requires rigour, coordination and constant ethics”, he stated when collecting the award. He also highlighted that this recognition reinforced his commitment to “a more competent, more humane and more useful security for society”.
The award ceremony took place as part of the most important annual event of the ADSI, which brought together 330 security professionals and various authorities. The ceremony included the presentation of awards, a networking cocktail in the gardens of the venue, and the subsequent ADSI 2025 Institutional Dinner, in which the president of the association, Eduard Zamora Peral, spoke.
The event, considered one of the most important meeting points for private security in the country, was attended by partners, sponsors and members of the ADSI Board of Directors. According to the organisation, the high attendance and participation of the sector contributed to the success of the day.
